Field Project Manager

About the role

Eaton’s North American Sales division is seeking a Field Project Manager to drive post‑purchase order activities for large, complex electrical projects in the Gulf Region. This hybrid position will be based in one of several Texas or Louisiana locations and serves as the primary liaison between sales, engineering, finance and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, risks, change control and cost management to maximize profitability.
• Coordinate order transition from sales, ensuring clean order entry and adherence to contract terms.
• Maintain project schedules, milestone matrices and communication plans with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct regular progress meetings with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Contracts and Finance.
• Manage relationships with customers, channel partners and rep agents throughout the project lifecycle.
• Record all project details and financial data in Eaton’s proprietary project management software.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, sales, engineering or related fields.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and residence within 50 mi of an eligible city.
• Ability to work without relocation assistance or immigration sponsorship.

Required skills

• PMP certification (preferred).
• Experience with engineered power products.
• Proficiency in project management software.
