Facilities Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

About the role

The Maintenance and Facilities Technician supports the Manufacturing, OPEX and EHS teams by keeping the plant and its equipment in optimal condition. Working the 2nd shift, you will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, execute PMs, and help reduce downtime across the electrical assembly operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot, analyze and repair mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Carry out general facilities repairs including painting, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, HVAC, welding, roofing, landscape irrigation, and fixture replacement.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives such as 5S+, TPM and set‑up reduction.
• Supervise outside contractors on plant projects and repairs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years experience in commercial/industrial facilities maintenance.
• At least 1 year experience in the electrical field (24 V‑480 V preferred).
• Experience using hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Residency within 50 miles of the El Paso facility (active‑duty military exempt).
• U.S. work authorization; no immigration sponsorship available.
