Field Clinical Specialist - Peripheral Vascular (Brooklyn/Queens)

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Field Clinical Specialist for its Inari peripheral vascular products in Brooklyn and Queens, New York. The role is field-based and uses independent judgement to partner with local Account Managers so that clinical support and education improve. The position carries a base salary of $130,000 plus possible commission and bonuses.

Key responsibilities

• Educate physicians on device handling, implantation and troubleshooting for Inari products.
• Develop, lead and run training sessions and in-service education programs in hospitals.
• Identify therapy adoption opportunities with Regional and Account Managers.
• Communicate complex technical information clearly during fast-paced procedures and act as the clinical link between the medical community and the company.
• Build and maintain credible business relationships with customers and share product expertise.
• Answer complex field inquiries and give clinical support on an as-needed basis.
• Collaborate with product development teams on device feedback and document case observations for regulatory and quality purposes.

Required profile

• Associate's degree in nursing or a related clinical discipline preferred.
• At least three years of combined education, training and hands-on experience in a cath lab, nursing or comparable clinical setting.
• Understanding of cardiovascular science, anatomy, pathology and physiology, and strong clinical acumen.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% locally and regionally, including occasional overnight trips, and night/weekend on-call.
• Ability to work independently, focus on detail and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Excellent command of English, with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to create presentation materials.
• An understanding of the sales process is a plus.
