Field Case Manager - Augusta Region

About the role

Sedgwick is hiring a Field Case Manager to cover the Augusta, GA region; the candidate must live in this region to be considered. The role works face to face with injured workers and their medical providers, advocating for progressive medical treatment and timely return to work while acting as a liaison between all parties. Frequent travel is required, but the position maintains a home-based office.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as patient advocate, supporting, guiding and coordinating care for injured workers, families and caregivers during recovery.
• Help injured workers achieve recovery and autonomy through advocacy, communication, education, identifying service resources and facilitating services.
• Identify appropriate providers and facilities across the continuum of care, using resources in a timely, cost-effective way to give the client and the reimbursement source the best value.

Required profile

• RN licensure preferred; otherwise a bachelor's degree in a health or human services field is required, with one of the following certifications: CCM, CDMS or CRC.
• Valid driver's license and high-speed internet; employment may depend on a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
• Ability to think clearly, solve problems, handle stress and multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
