Federal Work Study – Library/IT (Athens)

About the role

This Federal Work Study position supports the library and IT functions at Athens Technical College. It is a part‑time, on‑campus role designed for students who are enrolled in at least six credit hours and meet federal financial aid requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phone calls, make outbound calls, and respond to internal and external program inquiries.
• Assist with student orientations and testing sessions.
• Operate office equipment and perform basic computer tasks using Microsoft Office and internet research.
• Run errands on campus as needed and perform other clerical duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
• Maintain registration of at least 6 credit hours each term.
• Meet Federal Satisfactory Academic Progress standards.
• Completed FAFSA for the current aid year.
• Not in default or owing repayment on any Federal aid program.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic computer literacy and internet research ability.
