Federal Account Manager, Combatant Commands

About the role

BeyondTrust is seeking an Enterprise Account Manager focused on the U.S. Department of Defense and Combatant Commands. You will manage a defined sales territory, drive new business, and own the full sales lifecycle for our cybersecurity SaaS portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new and existing accounts within the DoD/Combatant Commands and maintain a territory sales plan.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual quota by prospecting, lead generation, forecasting, and closing deals across all product lines.
• Partner with internal teams (VP, SEs, PAMs, SDRs) and channel partners to deliver strategic goals and value to customers.
• Maintain accurate whitespace data, sales pipeline in Salesforce, and lead RFP responses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of customer‑facing sales experience in security, PAM, identity management, or related IT software.
• Proven success selling to DoD Unified Combatant Commands and familiarity with federal buying vehicles (ESI, GSA, CHESS/ITES).
• Established network with senior IT professionals and ability to travel within the region.

Required skills

• Salesforce CRM usage.
• Knowledge of privileged access management (PAM) solutions.
• Understanding of federal procurement processes and channels (VADs, VARs).
