Family Medicine Physician

About the role

ChesPenn Health Services seeks a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to deliver comprehensive primary care to adults and children at its Chester, PA clinic. The position offers a collaborative, community‑focused environment serving medically underserved populations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide routine preventive care, physical exams, screenings, and manage acute and chronic conditions in an outpatient setting.
• Conduct follow‑up visits for patients referred to specialists and educate patients on health maintenance.
• Supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants, and collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
• Participate in emergency call coverage rotation, including weekends and holidays.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR, maintain confidentiality, and support medical and public health initiatives.
• Meet productivity targets in line with BPHC grant standards and contribute to the annual healthcare plan.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and completed a Family Medicine residency.
• Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license, DEA certification, and board eligibility/certification.
• Current COVID‑19 and flu vaccinations.
• Experience in ambulatory primary care or community health preferred.
• Strong communication, diagnostic, and critical‑thinking abilities; patient‑focused demeanor.
