About the role
Ochsner Health is seeking dedicated Family Medicine Physicians to join its Metairie, LA clinic. You will provide comprehensive, non‑surgical care for children and adults, ensuring continuity of care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of diseases and injuries for patients of all ages.
- Develop individualized care plans that include medical history, physical examination, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals.
- Collaborate with consulting physicians, nurses, patients, and families to determine optimal treatment pathways.
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary while maintaining overall responsibility for their care.
Required profile
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.).
- Active license to practice medicine in Louisiana.
- Completion of an accredited family medicine residency.
