Family Child Care Coach (Southwest Arkansas)

About the role

The Family Child Care Coach supports family‑based child‑care providers across Southwest Arkansas, offering guidance, resources, and program administration to improve quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one coaching and technical assistance to family child‑care providers.
• Develop individualized improvement plans and conduct site visits.
• Deliver training sessions on best practices, licensing requirements, and curriculum implementation.
• Monitor provider compliance with state regulations and university program standards.
• Collect and report data for grant and program evaluation purposes.
• Collaborate with University of Arkansas staff and community partners to align resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field.
• Experience working with family child‑care settings or early‑learning programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel within Southwest Arkansas.
• Knowledge of Arkansas child‑care licensing and quality standards.
