Faculty Urologist - Urogynecology, URPS & Neuro-Urology

About the role

Jefferson Einstein Medical Center, part of Jefferson Health, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible urologist specializing in urogynecology, pelvic reconstructive surgery (URPS) and neuro-urology. The position is a full-time faculty role within the Einstein Urology Residency Program (three residents per year) and an academic appointment through Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, serving the North Philadelphia community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialized care in urogynecology, female urology, female pelvic reconstruction and neuro-urology, including pelvic floor disorders, incontinence and voiding dysfunction.
• Perform in-office procedures such as cystoscopy, vasectomy and urodynamics.
• Participate in inpatient rounding.
• Teach OB-GYN residents and take part in resident and medical student education and clinical research programs.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team of six urologists, 15 residents, three APCs and 22 staff, with a dedicated OR block and access to robotics.

Required profile

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited urology residency program.
• Fellowship training in urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery (URPS) or equivalent experience preferred.
• Board certification or eligibility in urology (ABS).
• Eligible for a Pennsylvania medical license and DEA registration.
