Associate Field Service Technician - Transport Equipment

About the role

Stryker is hiring an Associate Field Service Technician in Philadelphia, PA, to support a designated service territory by repairing and delivering Stryker equipment focused on Transport solutions. The work covers a range of products such as stretchers, transport chairs, bed frames and temperature management systems. The position is field-based and offers a chance to gain experience and advance into a more senior ProCare role.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control checks, preventative maintenance, global hold repairs and wireless upgrades.
• Use computer software to complete documentation, order parts and reference training materials.
• Deliver high-quality customer service, support the sales team and build effective customer relationships to encourage equipment and service usage.
• Work mostly independently and collaborate with teammates on Field Service projects and initiatives.
• Maintain strong Field Service metrics, including hours and overtime accountability, inventory accuracy and documentation cadence.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• At least 21 years of age to meet driving requirements.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence with a good driving record, as you will operate a company vehicle.
• Willingness to work an extended work week, including nights and weekends at times.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted and to perform prolonged periods of bending, kneeling, sitting and standing.

Required skills

• Basic electronic and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read, retain information and coordinate hand-eye-foot movements.

Pay is $27.00 to $37.05 per hour, with a travel percentage of 30%.
