Facility Maintenance Laborer

About the role

The Facility Maintenance Laborer supports daily maintenance operations at Concurrent Technologies Corporation’s Johnstown location, working under skilled trades technicians to keep building systems running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Assist tradespeople with tasks that require standing, climbing, lifting up to 75 lb, and working at heights.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely, maintaining required DOT physical certification.
• Interpret work orders, diagrams, and safety instructions; use basic computer tools for documentation.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation and occasional travel to other office sites.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; 0–2 years related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain DOT physical certification.
• Physical ability to lift, climb ladders, and work in noisy, potentially hazardous environments.
• Basic reading comprehension and intermediate math skills.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (certification or experience).
• Scissor‑lift operation.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and maintenance schedules.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications for work‑order tracking.
