About the role
Under the general supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Crew Leader, the Facilities Site Supervisor ensures the Sandy Recreation Center is clean, secure, functional, and ready for public and internal use.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain daily operational readiness of the facility, including cleaning and security.
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment such as automatic carpet extractors, wet/dry mop systems, and floor sweepers.
- Dilute and apply cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer instructions.
- Use office equipment and computerized scoreboard control panels as needed.
Required profile
- At least six months of related experience; leadership experience preferred.
- Must be 16 years or older, self‑motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow directions, recognize unacceptable conditions, and correct them with minimal supervision.
Required skills
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of commercial cleaning equipment.
- Proficiency with office methods, telephone etiquette, and basic computer operations.
