Facilities Project Manager Associate

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking a Facilities Project Manager Associate to assist in planning and delivering construction and MEP‑focused projects across its facilities. The role supports the creation of safe, high‑quality environments that enable bank operations and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support development of project plans, timelines, and documentation, tracking milestones and identifying risks.
• Assist with cost estimates, budget tracking, and procurement activities, including informal bids and RFPs.
• Monitor job‑site progress for quality, safety, and code compliance; review punch lists and inspections.
• Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment across active projects and communicate schedule impacts.
• Provide clear updates to internal partners, contractors, and project teams; prepare reports and meeting summaries.
• Help identify schedule, cost, or scope risks and contribute to mitigation strategies.
• Participate in bidding processes, collaborate with architects, engineers, and electricians, and prepare compliance and close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail.
• Knowledge of construction methods and building systems, including MEP.
