Facilities Manager – Site Operations

About the role

As a Facilities Manager at H&M Group, you will ensure smooth operation of the company's site portfolio, delivering cost‑efficient and high‑quality facility management services that support both short‑ and long‑term asset performance. Based in the New York Support Office, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams and external service providers to maintain safe, compliant, and reliable facilities across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full FM scope, including energy & utilities, cleaning, waste & pest management, technical installations, general building maintenance, and shopfitting maintenance.
• Define FM strategy, set standards, steer suppliers, manage performance and drive cost and quality optimisation in line with the global FM vision.
• Lead or co‑lead sourcing and procurement of facility service providers, ensuring contractual compliance and high‑quality delivery.
• Monitor portfolio condition, identify investment needs and plan actions to optimise asset lifecycle performance.
• Create and maintain maintenance plans, balancing scheduled and reactive work, and oversee execution of facility projects.
• Ensure health and safety requirements are met, collaborating with suppliers and local security.
• Provide internal service support to all brands and sites, delivering timely and high‑quality facility services.
• Manage data, systems and financial performance related to assets and reactive work.
