Facilities Maintenance Contract Coordinator

About the role

The Facilities Maintenance Contract Coordinator administers a wide range of facilities maintenance service and supply contracts for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, working at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport or the Dulles Toll Road.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, administer, and quality‑assure maintenance/service contracts across multiple trades, including equipment, structural, and landscaping services.
• Prepare solicitation documents, perform price analysis, and draft board papers and budget justifications.
• Coordinate contract reviews, serve as evaluation committee chair, and support procurement negotiations.
• Monitor contractor performance, certify invoices, and manage work orders using Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans.
• Develop and track budgets, analyze trends, and prepare long‑term planning requirements.

Required profile

• At least four years of progressive experience in facility maintenance or service contracting.
• Knowledge of contracting, procurement, accounting, and business processes.
• Ability to perform full pre‑award, award, and post‑award contracting functions.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Contract drafting and solicitation document preparation.
• Price analysis, cost estimating, and budgeting.
• Use of modern office suite software, especially financial and maintenance management systems.
