Facilities Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a resourceful, self‑directed Facilities Coordinator to support Apple’s NorCal Facilities leadership. The role acts as a force multiplier, handling coordination, communication, and operational infrastructure for a large, multi‑disciplinary organization.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage AI‑powered tools and large language models to automate drafting of communications, build KPI dashboards, and maintain documentation such as org charts and SOPs.
• Serve as primary coordination point between senior leadership and internal/external stakeholders, acting with delegated authority.
• Own regional workflow within Places Support, tracking and resolving maintenance requests and service delivery.
• Manage leadership calendars, meeting logistics, agenda preparation, action‑item tracking and follow‑up.
• Support budget tracking, purchase order coordination and vendor follow‑up.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce administrative overhead and increase team velocity.
• Develop processes and infrastructure for emerging operational priorities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of experience in facilities coordination or related operational support.
• Proactive, results‑driven professional capable of operating with delegated authority.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to anticipate needs.
• Experience managing cross‑functional coordination in a fast‑paced environment.
