Experienced Paralegal – Litigation / Casualty Defense

About the role

The Law Offices of Marshall Dennehey is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to support civil defense matters in Westchester, NY. The role offers a hybrid schedule and a collaborative, fast‑paced environment where professionalism and teamwork are emphasized.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain, review, and analyze medical, financial, tax, and employment records.
• Create detailed medical and factual chronologies, trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files.
• Compile evidence through discovery documents, transcripts, and databases, and manage both electronic and physical case files.
• Coordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and support services, generating status reports and case indexes.
• Conduct legal and medical research, communicate with experts, and perform additional duties as needed.

Required profile

• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage a fast‑paced caseload.
• 3–5 years of litigation/casualty paralegal experience.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree; Paralegal Certificate from an ABA‑approved program preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with a commitment to confidentiality.
