Experienced IT Analyst – Configuration Management

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is seeking an Experienced IT Analyst to lead enterprise configuration management initiatives. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and usability of configuration data across our IT landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Support enterprise configuration management initiatives that improve CMDB data quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Drive process optimization across ITSM practices to enable efficient end‑to‑end workflows.
• Evaluate new ServiceNow platform capabilities and guide teams through adoption, integration, and rollout.
• Develop and maintain configuration governance standards, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and product teams to align configuration data for planning, monitoring, and reporting.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities to reduce manual effort and enhance data usability.
• Perform complex analysis of business issues and recommend sustainable technology solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and internal resources to assess capabilities, define high‑level needs, and propose process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in configuration management and IT service management environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
