About the role
Coakley Brothers & Brothers Interiors seeks reliable Class A CDL drivers to transport customers' goods safely using various equipment. Drivers will provide Diamond‑Class customer service and support the company’s 137‑year legacy.
Key responsibilities
- Manage routes, assess traffic, and ensure on‑time arrival at customer sites.
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and identify any defects.
- Load, pad, and secure household and office furniture for transport.
- Maintain accurate paper logs and comply with DOT regulations.
- Use internal software for scheduling, documentation, and signature collection.
Required profile
- Valid, unrestricted Class A driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in commercial transportation or delivery of goods.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work both independently and in a team.
Required skills
- Class A CDL operation.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle inspection procedures.
- Proficiency with paper log maintenance.
- Familiarity with internal logistics software.
