Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) – Full-Time

About the role

Lakewood Complete Dentistry is seeking a dependable Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team. This full‑time, onsite position offers the chance to develop advanced clinical skills while contributing to a community‑focused practice.

Key responsibilities

• Take digital crown, bridge, and denture impressions.
• Fabricate and adjust temporary crowns and restorations.
• Perform composite fillings and polish teeth.
• Assist with extractions, root canal procedures, implant placements, and veneer preparations.
• Capture digital X‑rays as needed.
• Educate patients on pre‑ and post‑operative care for implants, veneers, and other restorative work.

Required profile

• Completion of an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) training program preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (required).
• Qualified to perform dental radiography in Colorado; DANB Radiation Health and Safety certification preferred.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Open Dental software experience preferred.
• New graduates encouraged; attitude and willingness to learn valued.
