Executive Vice President of Operations

About the role

The Executive Vice President of Operations will lead a $100M+ commercial HVAC and mechanical services platform across nine branches. Reporting to senior leadership, this role focuses on stabilising performance, driving consistency, and building the operational infrastructure needed for growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee multi‑branch operations, including service delivery, project execution, labor productivity, and margin improvement.
• Implement stronger operating rhythms, reporting cadences, and dashboards to increase visibility into branch‑level performance.
• Standardise processes across locations and tighten project controls.
• Lead P&L ownership for a business ranging from $75M to $200M+.
• Support organic growth and acquisitions by ensuring operational scalability.

Required profile

• Senior operational leadership experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical services, industrial or construction services.
• Proven track record of turnaround or operational improvement in complex service businesses.
• Experience managing large, multi‑site or multi‑branch operations with direct P&L responsibility.
• Comfortable working in a private‑equity‑backed environment and able to relocate to the East Coast if needed.
