Executive Vice President, Creative Director

About the role

Saatchi & Saatchi Health, part of Publicis Health, is looking for an Executive Vice President, Creative Director in New York. The role leads the creative direction of campaigns for pharmaceutical clients, working closely with leadership and clients to turn complex health topics into clear, impactful work.

Key responsibilities

• Set the highest standards for visual storytelling, conceptual design and brand consistency across campaigns, and guide art directors, copywriters, designers and other creatives
• Develop creative strategies with leadership and clients that advance brand objectives and drive business growth for pharmaceutical clients
• Bring fresh, strategic ideation to each new business opportunity
• Mentor and develop a team of SVPs and creative staff, fostering innovation and collaboration
• Act as a senior point of contact for clients, presenting creative concepts and maintaining agency standards
• Oversee creative resource allocation, project budgeting and freelance or external creative partners
• Contribute to thought leadership and inspire creativity based on advertising trends and innovation

Required profile

• Creative advertising background in art, design, writing or a related field
• 15+ years of creative leadership experience, including at least 5 in pharmaceutical advertising or healthcare communications
• Portfolio showing integrated campaign development for both pharmaceutical and traditional consumer brands
• Understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, medical communications and ethical advertising standards
• Track record of pitching and winning new business
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary creative teams and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Excellent communication, presentation and client relationship skills
