Executive Product Manager - VP

About the role

Barclays is hiring an Executive Product Manager - VP in its Cards Platform, within Product Development & Management, to oversee the entire product lifecycle. The role defines product vision, shapes strategy and drives delivery of customer-centric solutions. It is based in the Whippany, NJ or Wilmington, DE office.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive product strategy, roadmap and OKRs, aligned with business targets and customer outcomes
• Shape and prioritize strategic priorities, epics and investments, balancing value, customer impact and delivery feasibility
• Partner with senior stakeholders, engineering, architecture and business teams to align priorities and resolve dependencies
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch, with product owners, ensuring on-time delivery and customer experience
• Evolve a portfolio of product capabilities, balancing short-term delivery with long-term goals and innovation
• Manage product risk and controls, and advise functional and senior leadership on cross-functional impacts
• Deliver product goals and performance through data-driven analysis, and maintain a customer-first approach

Required profile

• Commercial acumen, able to turn business strategy into measurable product outcomes
• Stakeholder guidance and influencing skills, with experience building alignment across senior leaders and cross-functional teams
• Strategic thinking and data-driven judgement
• Communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience overseeing large-scale transformation programmes and driving a customer-centric product culture

What we offer

• Permanent contract, with a base salary of $155,000 to $200,000 for the Whippany, NJ location
