Executive Director – Senior Living Community

About the role

Hammond Square is seeking an Executive Director to lead its senior living community. This full‑time position oversees all operations, ensures financial health, and creates a growth‑driven environment for residents, families, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, open‑door atmosphere for residents, families, and team members.
• Lead by example with effective communication and meticulous attention to resident care.
• Set quality‑assurance standards and nurture strong family relationships.
• Oversee care delivery, food service, and facilities management to meet high operational standards.
• Hire, train, and supervise a high‑performing team.
• Manage community finances, operating expenses, and regulatory compliance.
• Direct sales and marketing efforts to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Active Assisted Living Administrator license in the state of employment.
• Prior experience as an Executive Director or Administrator.
• 1–2 years experience in senior living, supervising at least 10 staff members.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new applications.
• Experience managing operating expenses of $1 M+ preferred.
• Sales or business‑development experience is a plus.
