Executive Director, Private Banking

About the role

The Northwest Bank is seeking an Executive Director to lead its Private Banking franchise. This senior leader will oversee the Private Bank team across strategic markets, drive revenue growth, and ensure a seamless Wealth Management experience for high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and expand the Private Bank team in key markets throughout the Northwest footprint.
• Set and exceed core business metrics, P&L targets and annual budgetary goals.
• Conduct continuous market analysis to enhance client experience and generate revenue from depository, lending and investment management services.
• Collaborate with leaders across Retail, Commercial, Mortgage and Small Business Banking to create cross‑referral opportunities.
• Partner with Marketing to create internal and external brand initiatives and sales materials.
• Lead internal training on Private Bank offerings and Wealth Management products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field; Master’s degree (MS, MBA) preferred.
• 15+ years of financial services experience, including 8‑12 years in Wealth Management and Private Banking.
• Professional certifications: CTFA, CFP, FINRA SIE, Series 6 and Series 7 (to be obtained upon hire).
• Proven ability to manage large teams, drive profitability and navigate complex regulatory environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business software.
• Strong knowledge of private banking products, investment management, and lending services.
