Executive Director – Hospice Leadership

About the role

Moments Hospice is seeking an Executive Director to lead a compassionate team and shape the future of end‑of‑life care. In this senior position you will drive strategic direction, oversee daily operations, and ensure exceptional patient experiences across the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization’s strategic plan to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all hospice regulations, policies, and accreditation standards.
• Make critical, results‑driven decisions, set priorities, and monitor performance against clinical and operational goals.
• Collaborate with leadership to create business plans, marketing strategies, and growth initiatives.
• Leverage data analysis to identify trends, anticipate challenges, and implement solutions.
• Foster a collaborative, results‑oriented work environment that empowers staff.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of hospice leadership experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (required); Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong understanding of healthcare theories, concepts, and best practices, especially in hospice care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proven problem‑solving, time‑management, and organizational abilities.
