Executive Director – Enterprise Applications

About the role

Candescent seeks an Executive Director to lead the strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of its enterprise application portfolio. This senior technology leader will ensure that core platforms such as Salesforce, Zuora CPQ, NetSuite, Workday, and Concur meet business needs while adhering to security, compliance, and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee development, support, and optimization of Salesforce, Zuora CPQ, NetSuite, Workday, and Concur.
• Ensure seamless integration across platforms using MuleSoft and maintain robust API connectivity.
• Define and execute the application roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead design, development, and deployment of ERP, CRM, and billing systems using Agile and DevOps practices.
• Establish a global support model with ITIL‑based incident, problem, and change management.
• Enforce data security, SOX, GDPR compliance, and vendor SLA adherence.
• Mentor a multidisciplinary team of developers, architects, and support specialists.
• Manage budgets and negotiate contracts with third‑party vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years in IT leadership roles with extensive experience in application development and enterprise support.
• Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage large, cross‑functional teams.
