About the role

The Executive Director / CEO leads the Children’s Advocacy Center, guiding strategy, operations, and community impact to prevent and heal child abuse, neglect, and family trauma. This senior executive role blends compassionate leadership with disciplined execution to ensure long‑term sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement organizational strategy and financial sustainability plans.
• Oversee operational performance, program quality, and compliance with grant and regulatory requirements.
• Lead fund development, donor cultivation, grant management, and revenue diversification.
• Build and maintain community partnerships, government relations, and stakeholder networks.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, and risk management.
• Provide visionary staff leadership, performance accountability, and organizational change management.
• Represent the Center publicly, including board reporting and public speaking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, public administration, social work, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7‑10 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit, human services, child welfare, or related sectors.
• Deep expertise in child advocacy, trauma‑informed care, and evidence‑based victim services.
• Proven track record in budgeting, financial oversight, grant compliance, and fundraising.
• Strong communication skills for board, donor, and stakeholder engagement.
• High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and personal integrity.
