About the role

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team for underground utility installation projects across Kernersville, Winston‑Salem, and Greensboro, NC. The role requires safe, efficient, and independent work on active construction sites.

Key responsibilities

Excavate trenches for storm drain, sewer, and water lines.
Collaborate closely with pipe crews and site supervisors.
Perform safe digging around marked utilities.
Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Required profile

5+ years of excavator operating experience.
Strong background in storm, sewer, and water utility installation.
Ability to dig safely around existing utilities.
Reliable, safety‑focused, and able to work in all weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

Required skills

Reading grades and layout plans.
