EVP, Managing Partner, Business Solutions

About the role

Horizon Media is looking for a hybrid leader who is part growth driver, part senior client partner and part capability builder. As a member of the West Coast Senior Leadership Team, the role manages critical West Coast clients, leads the entertainment team and takes part in pitching and winning new business. It also acts as a founder building a net-new entertainment and innovation business, positioning the firm as a growth partner rather than a traditional media agency.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as senior strategic lead across high-value accounts, including major studio and streamer clients, moving relationships from transactional media buying to strategic partnerships.
• Lead the entertainment team and large cross-functional groups, identifying strengths and aligning teams around a shared vision.
• Originate opportunities, lead high-stakes pitches and win new business to grow the West Coast office.
• Coach the team using media planning and strategy knowledge, evaluating work and pushing back when necessary.
• Build scalable capabilities in branded content and integrations, entertainment development and financing, and proprietary entertainment technology through a partnership with OS Labs.
• Oversee portfolio performance, team structure and delivery, ensuring profitability, scalability and operational rigor.

Required profile

• Proven track record of originating, participating in and winning new business, with a strong understanding of performance and analytics.
• Deep knowledge of media strategy and planning, and strong product experience with AI and tech-driven thinking.
• Background likely from either running a studio or streamer business at an agency, or leading a broad organization or division as a senior sales or revenue executive.
• Strong network across studios, streamers and production companies.

What we offer

• Salary range of $350,000 to $500,000, depending on skills, experience and qualifications.
