Event Operations Manager – Detroit

Method Co.’s Anthology Events brand is seeking an Event Operations Manager to lead the execution of large‑scale gatherings in Detroit’s historic Book Tower. The role blends hands‑on event set‑up, staff supervision, and client interaction to ensure seamless, high‑quality experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily event operations and guest services, ensuring standards set by leadership are met.
• Manage set‑up and breakdown of event spaces, coordinating vendor load‑in and food expediting.
• Lead and motivate service staff, maintaining morale, productivity, and polished presentation.
• Communicate clearly with VIP clients, staff, and the Director of Events to align expectations.
• Execute post‑event close procedures, guaranteeing the space is clean, secure, and ready for the next function.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Director of Events and General Manager.
