Event Marketing Lead

About the role

Reddit is seeking an experienced Event Marketing Lead to join its Global Customer Marketing team. The role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, allowing you to shape high‑impact brand experiences and industry events that align with Reddit’s business goals and values.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of Reddit‑owned and industry events, from strategy and production to onsite management and post‑event analysis.
• Support major tentpole events such as Cannes Lions and Shoptalk, ensuring brand consistency and maximum impact.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior leadership and cross‑functional partners across Sales, Marketing, Communications, Product, Finance, and Accounting.
• Stay current on Reddit narratives and industry trends to ensure events reflect business priorities and company values.
• Manage event budgets, forecasting, vendor negotiations, and contract execution in partnership with Finance.
• Oversee timelines, workflows, and stakeholder communications across multiple concurrent projects.
• Travel as needed for site visits, onsite event management, and team collaboration.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Event Marketing, Experiential Marketing, or Industry Marketing; agency experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects with exceptional organization and attention to detail.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach to stakeholder management.
• Experience contributing to creative development and providing actionable feedback to internal teams and agencies.
