Evening Shift Pharmacy Technician (Full-Time)

About the role

Join UT Health Tyler as a full‑time, evening‑shift Pharmacy Technician. You will work on‑site in a busy hospital pharmacy, supporting medication preparation and pharmacy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with technical, non‑clinical tasks related to medication dispensing.
• Prepare and compound sterile IV medications, maintaining competency.
• Support daily pharmacy operations and perform related duties as needed.
• Demonstrate reliability and punctuality as a team member.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy technician experience, including training programs.
• Completion of sterile compounding training/competency as required by state.
• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician license (if required by state).
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire.

Required skills

• Sterile IV compounding.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
