ETF Trader

About the role

This position offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise across a broad range of asset classes while working alongside experienced ETF traders. You will gain exposure to global equity markets, derivatives, commodities, and portfolio implementation strategies, contributing to the efficient management of Invesco's ETF platform.

Key responsibilities

• Execute trades under senior trader supervision, complying with SEC and SRO regulations and best‑execution standards.
• Trade multi‑asset orders linked to index events, rebalances, rolls, and creation/redemption processes using diverse strategies, technologies, and venues.
• Partner with fund managers to provide market intelligence, discuss implementation considerations, and identify execution improvements.
• Serve as liaison between the trading desk and functions such as capital markets, investment operations, compliance, and legal to resolve issues.
• Stay informed on market‑structure developments, liquidity, regulations, and trading technology.
• Participate in broker and industry meetings to build relationships and gather market insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in asset management, trading, capital markets, investment operations, portfolio analytics, or a similar financial services role.
• Collaborative mindset with strong relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Capability to conduct complex analysis and present data meaningfully.
