Estimator for Construction Projects

About the role

The Estimator at Clark Construction develops accurate, timely, and detailed cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, supporting both public and private clients. This full‑time, onsite role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop full‑scope cost estimates based on proposal documentation, drawings, and specifications.
• Create detailed quantity take‑offs and manage bid estimate files.
• Analyze subcontractor and vendor proposals, conduct cost comparisons, and assist with procurement.
• Perform forensic reporting at project conclusion and maintain historical databases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum five years of estimating experience on construction projects.
• Self‑starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to mentor project teams and manage full project estimates.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Bluebeam and Procore software.
• Ability to perform quantity take‑offs and cost‑based risk analysis.

• Annual salary $160,000‑$180,000 DOE.
