About the role
Vishay Thin Film is looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join its Niagara Falls, NY facility. You will support manufacturing operations by keeping critical equipment running smoothly and safely.
Key responsibilities
- Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment using layout plans, blueprints, manuals, or sketches.
- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose non‑functioning equipment.
- Use test and diagnostic tools to verify equipment performance.
- Rebuild and modify manufacturing equipment as directed by engineering.
- Calibrate equipment and assist with qualification activities.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2‑4 years of equipment maintenance experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math/computer skills.
Required skills
- Electrical troubleshooting.
- Mechanical troubleshooting.
- Equipment calibration.
- Use of test and diagnostic equipment.
