Epic Principal Trainer, Beaker – Anatomic and Clinical Pathology

About the role

The University of Miami Health System seeks an experienced Epic Principal Trainer for the Beaker Anatomic and Clinical Pathology module. You will lead training initiatives, develop curriculum, and ensure safe, effective use of clinical systems across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the training environment (MST) and create e‑learning modules, manuals, and classroom exercises.
• Deliver end‑user training, lead on‑call support, and participate in pre‑production simulations, testing, and go‑live activities.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to develop training strategies for system changes and new features.
• Oversee Credentialed Trainers, manage classroom and virtual sessions, and support junior staff in daily training operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and minimum three years of experience in healthcare or health‑IT training.
• Epic Beaker – Anatomic and Clinical Pathology certification and familiarity with laboratory workflows and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and ability to work evenings, nights, or weekends as needed.
