Epic Analyst – EpicCare Inpatient/ASAP

About the role

The University of Miami Information Technology & Systems Department seeks a full‑time Epic Analyst to support the EpicCare Inpatient/ASAP module. You will work closely with end‑users, stakeholders, and the application team to ensure optimal configuration and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day application support, resolve service tickets, and implement requested changes.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain EpicCare Inpatient/ASAP configurations and workflows.
• Collaborate with trainers to create documentation and training materials for new features.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, committee meetings, and weekly project team updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare‑related experience, including at least 2 years of Epic build work.
• Epic ClinDoc, Orders, and ASAP certifications.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Epic ClinDoc, Epic Orders, Epic ASAP certifications.
• Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Excel.
