Environmental Business Development Analyst

About the role

Terradex is offering a paid 90‑day position for a recent graduate or early‑career environmental professional. You will work directly with senior team members to research, analyse, and translate nationwide environmental data into market intelligence that supports business development and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Research and collect environmental data on brownfields, contaminated sites, remediation projects, and Institutional/Engineering Controls.
• Develop an understanding of how Institutional Controls are applied across different states and regulatory programs.
• Analyse state regulatory differences, legal frameworks, and implementation requirements.
• Contact state environmental agencies and regulatory bodies to obtain non‑public data.
• Map agency organisational structures and identify key personnel involved in contaminated‑site management.
• Prepare summaries, reports, knowledge‑base articles, and marketing blogs based on findings.
• Transform collected data into market‑intelligence insights for Terradex’s web‑application platform.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional in environmental science, engineering, data analysis, planning, GIS, or a comparable analytical field.
• Strong interest in contaminated‑property redevelopment, environmental data management, and business development.
• Excellent written communication skills for summarising research and creating marketing content.
