Entry-Level Sustainability Consultant

About the role

We are a leading sustainability enterprise seeking an ambitious graduate to join our environmental advisory team. As an Entry‑Level Sustainability Consultant you will support corporate, real‑estate and municipal clients in decarbonisation, resource efficiency and compliance across California.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in compiling and verifying Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions inventories using enterprise sustainability software.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to analyse building‑scale data and help projects achieve certifications such as LEED, WELL or local energy codes.
• Build and maintain data models that track water use, waste diversion and energy efficiency for client portfolios.
• Conduct market research and peer benchmarking to identify ESG materiality and prioritize long‑term risks.

Required profile

• Recent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Infrastructure, Engineering, Economics or a related data‑driven discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience handling large spreadsheets and data sets.
• Interest in California climate policies (e.g., Title 24, building decarbonisation mandates).
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical metrics into clear business insights.
