Entry-Level Structural & Building Envelope Engineer

About the role

We are a multidisciplinary engineering and architecture consulting firm seeking an entry‑level professional to support structural and building envelope projects across New Jersey, New York, and Florida. The role provides hands‑on field experience, technical development, and mentorship from senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections of structural systems and building envelope components.
• Document conditions with notes, photographs, sketches, and measurements.
• Identify deficiencies, deterioration, and code compliance issues.
• Assist in preparing engineering reports, field documentation, and technical records.
• Support project coordination, scheduling, and internal meetings.
• Review construction documents, drawings, and specifications under supervision.
• Track project progress, manage change orders, and assist with payment applications.
• Participate in client meetings and prepare meeting minutes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships accepted).
• EIT certification preferred or in progress.
• OSHA‑10 certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work in the field and travel to project sites.
