About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic entry‑level worker to join Lingua Franca Winery for the harvest season. This temporary, full‑time position offers hands‑on experience across all stages of winemaking.
Key responsibilities
- Maturity sampling of grapes
- Equipment and tank sanitation
- Fruit processing and juice handling
- Ferment tracking and management
- Tank and barrel additions
- Juice and wine movements
- Barrel preparation, cleaning, filling and emptying
- General winemaking operations to meet quality targets
Required profile
- Availability from mid‑August through mid‑November
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and overtime
- Strong organizational and written/oral communication abilities
- Interest in the winemaking process
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Required skills
- Forklift operation experience
- Previous harvest experience
