Entry-Level Environmental Engineer

About the role

Walden Environmental Engineering is seeking a motivated entry‑level engineer to join its consulting team in Oyster Bay, NY. You will support a variety of civil and environmental projects, gaining hands‑on experience while working alongside senior engineers, geologists, and scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Perform site investigations and feasibility studies for air quality, solid waste, and storage tank projects.
• Produce detailed reports based on field inspections and observations.
• Create construction design specifications and oversee construction activities.
• Develop site designs and assist with utility valuations and permit documentation.
• Research emerging regulations and provide guidance to project teams.

Required profile

• BS or MS in environmental, civil, or a related engineering discipline.
• 0‑3 years of post‑bachelor work experience (desired).
• Strong intellectual curiosity and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
