Entry-Level Concrete Construction Laborer (New Orleans)

About the role

We are seeking an entry‑level Laborer I to join our concrete construction crew in New Orleans. The role supports skilled tradespeople by performing physical tasks, preparing sites, and operating basic tools to help deliver foundations, slabs, walls, and curbs safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor, including site clean‑up and manual material handling.
• Operate motorized equipment and power tools such as saws, hammers, and drills.
• Assist in pouring vertical concrete and installing formwork according to instructions.
• Work in various weather conditions and maintain a clean, safe job site.

Required profile

• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 lb regularly and up to 90 lb with assistance.
• Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
• Minimum 12 months of formwork or concrete construction labor experience (preferred).
• 30‑hour OSHA certification desired.

Required skills

• Operation of power tools and motorized equipment.
• Basic concrete formwork handling.
• OSHA 30‑hour safety training.
