Entry-Level Clinical Research Coordinator (Neurology)

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Neurology department seeks an entry‑level Clinical Research Coordinator to support multiple studies in Boca Raton, FL. This full‑time position provides hands‑on experience in coordinating clinical protocols, managing data, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform chart reviews and pre‑screen participants for eligibility.
• Maintain enrollment procedures and coordinate study visits, appointments, and meetings.
• Collect, enter, and maintain study data; track timelines using spreadsheets or databases.
• Operate clinical research equipment and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Monitor and report adverse events and protocol deviations to the principal investigator.
• Assist with IRB protocol development, consent forms, questionnaires, and other study materials.
• Coordinate communication with participants via phone, email, or mail.
• Support grant proposal preparation and tracking.

Required profile

• Entry‑level background in clinical research or related health sciences.
• Understanding of international, national, and local regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently and under supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Outlook for calendar and email management.
• Operation of clinical research equipment and data collection tools.
