Enrollment Representative

About the role

Covista is hiring a full-time Enrollment Representative for its Chamberlain University admissions and enrollment team in Lisle, Illinois. Chamberlain is described as the largest nursing school in the country, offering nursing and health professions degrees on a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week. The role supports prospective and current nurses in their path to becoming healthcare professionals, and the first contact made in enrollment shapes the student's entire journey.

Key responsibilities

• Contact and respond to prospective students proactively by telephone, email and SMS using a contact strategy
• Assess and qualify prospects through prequalification or interview to see if Chamberlain's programs fit their academic and professional needs
• Help applicants move through enrollment by working with other departments so applications progress positively and students are satisfied
• Build rapport and relationships by phone in a high-volume environment
• Stay compliant with university standards and policies while remaining student-centric
• Adapt quickly to change and implement updates
• Work in a team and represent Chamberlain's culture of care while supporting enrollment goals
• Exemplify Covista values (Teamwork, Energy, Accountability, Community, Heart) in daily interactions
• For hires at a specific campus: host events for prospective students, attend local community events and promote the university
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Access to a work-from-home office with reliable high-speed internet, or ability to report to a campus 4-5 days a week for a full-time schedule
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Eager to learn, retain and apply new information
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office programs
• Phone communication and relationship building
