Enrollment Management Specialist

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking an Enrollment Management Specialist to support student enrollment processes and provide high‑quality service to prospective and current students. This full‑time position works within the Admissions office to ensure accurate data handling, effective communication, and smooth enrollment workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information to prospective students about admissions requirements, programs, testing, and residency verification.
• Receive, enter, and counsel applicants on test scores and documentation in the student information system.
• Process, scan, and file high‑school and college transcripts, verify in‑state residency, and evaluate academic records for admission decisions.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, text, email, and in‑person; conduct recruitment visits to high schools and career fairs.
• Monitor enrollment metrics (applied‑to‑admitted, admitted‑to‑registered) and support yield‑improvement strategies through data analysis.
• Manage incoming admissions emails and calls, ensuring timely resolution of enrollment‑blocking errors with the front office and MIS team.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation within the SIS and CRM platforms.

Required profile

• Associate degree in a related field.
• At least two years of experience in an educational environment.
• Experience in admissions, enrollment, or student services.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Minimum one year of direct customer‑facing experience.
• Data‑entry proficiency and flexibility to work varied hours.
