About the role
The State of Georgia, through Southern Crescent Technical College, seeks a part‑time Adjunct Instructor to teach Respiratory Therapy at the Griffin campus. The role combines classroom instruction with clinical supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and hands‑on training in respiratory technology and polysomnography.
- Supervise and evaluate students in clinical settings.
- Participate in student recruitment, advisement, inventory management, and course planning.
Required profile
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensed in Georgia.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Respiratory Care from an accredited institution.
- At least four years of RRT experience, including two years of clinical care.
- Minimum two years of recent full‑time, paid teaching or training experience.
Required skills
- Respiratory therapy clinical expertise.
- Ability to teach and assess students in both classroom and clinical environments.
What we offer
- Part‑time schedule not exceeding 29 hours per week.
- Hourly compensation commensurate with education and experience.
