Engineering Project Manager – Substation Engineering

About the role

Revamp is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to lead substation and interconnection engineering on utility‑scale renewable projects. You will own scope, schedule, budget and deliverables while translating contract language into clear project actions for internal teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule and budget from kickoff through closeout for multiple substation projects.
• Interpret contract and proposal language to define deliverable scope.
• Coordinate civil, electrical, structural and power‑systems engineering teams.
• Oversee external subconsultants, submittals, RFIs and change requests.
• Identify risks, scope changes and schedule impacts early and drive decisions.
• Prepare and submit monthly invoicing and ensure compliance with client, utility and jurisdictional standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of project management experience in engineering consulting, EPC construction or renewable energy.
• Direct experience delivering high‑voltage substation, interconnection or transmission projects.
• Ability to read and explain substation and transmission contracts.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time, including overnight trips.
